Authentic Jazz Workshop , open level with  Marta

Workshop for: 1. Lindy Hop dancers of all levels who want to feel better in improvisation and swing movement in general; 2. already dancing swing solo (Authentic Jazz or Charleston); 3. everyone who would like to try their hand at a swing movement for the first time.

Authentic Jazz, or simply jazz (as dance) of the 20s-40s, is simply a solo movement to swing music. Interpretation of music in Lindy Hop, improvisation, playing with dance, rhythmic variations, breaking patterns,  posture, bounce - it all comes from a solo swing movement. Weekend workshops will be conducted precisely in terms of  improvisational and rhythmic freedom in swing.

We recommend them to everyone without exception -  regular groups of Authentic Jazzu, Charleston and Linda at all levels.

Lindy Hop Workshop , Beginners - Intermediate level with Marta & Tomek and Ania & Marcin

Saturday 13.30-15.00, Sunday 15.30-17.00

Workshop  for regulars  Lindy Hop Beginners 1, Lindy Hop Beginners 2 and all those who have recently started their adventure with swing know the basic transitions and want to diversify their dance.

If you joined us in this  or the previous trimester and you have been in one of the Beginners 1 or 2 groups or have recently been dancing Lindy Hop,  these will probably be your first / one of the first non-class workshops.  

While in regular classes you have had rather basic transitions and figures, in such workshops you usually get a specific topic,   which is to be an inspiration for further adventure with this dance.

The theme of the weekend Lindy Hop workshops will be  music interpretation.   You will learn about it  how a piece of music is built, how to convey the atmosphere and mood of the piece and how to play with its form,  you will receive tools, variations that will break the basic step and allow you to have more fun with movement.

Lindy Hop Workshop,  Intermediate - Advanced level  with Marta & Tomek and Ania & Marcin

Saturday 13.30-15.00, Sunday 15.30-17.00

We dedicate this workshop to groups  Lindy Hop Believers, Lindy Hop Addicts and Lindy Hop Maniacs  and all those who dance more freely feel on the dance floor and are hungry for new inspirations.  By responding to your frequent requests,  we will deal with the subject of improvisation and rhythmic variations.  They will be too  styles, new shapes and everything we can do independently to diversify our dance by making even the most basic transitions.

Lindy Hop lesson from complete basics

A lesson for everyone who would like to try their hand at the most popular swing dance in a pair - Lindy Hop!  The lesson is included in the ticket price to the event.

• Lindy Hop (selected level) or   Authentic Jazz,   3 hours  classes - 90 PLN (or 80 PLN with the Swing & Sway card)

Party + lesson from scratch or taster

• PLN 40 when paying by 30 November

• PLN 30 with Swing & Sway card for payment by November 30

• PLN 45 for everyone from December 1 , also on site, subject to availability

The party ticket entitles you to enter the Lindy Hop lesson from complete basics or an hour-long taster for the dancers.
