Promised Soft Shoe Dance workshops in the first half of December!
Beata Kędzi-Sowa , whom some of you already know very well, will prepare a program dedicated especially to you, swing dancers.
The Soft Shoe is nothing but a steppe variety made in ordinary footwear, i.e. without a traditional metal plate.
So we will dance on a classic swing sole (we recommend hard leather) and we will focus on building a rhythmic repertoire to diversify our Lindy Hop or Authentic Jazz.
If you like the classes, we will introduce them to our semester schedule for good :)
Beata Kędzi-Sowa - dancer, instructor; the founder of the MyTap tap dance school - the only tap dance school in Krakow.
A certified jazz and sports dance instructor, a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow, she has been dancing since childhood, tap dancing since 2004. She learned stepping, incl. in Warsaw, in Birmingham (England) at the DanceXchange school in Barcelona, at the International Festivals in Prague and Stockholm. He regularly trains with famous and respected instructors such as: Jason Samuels Smith, Jason Janas, Sam Weber, Nicholas Young, Andrew Nemr, Chloe Arnold, Michelle Dorrance, Sarah Reich, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Avalon Rathgeb, Lynn Schwab and many others.
